At what age can children start piano lessons?
Children can begin piano lessons at age 6 and above. From this age, students are generally ready to follow a more structured learning path that combines piano performance, music reading, solfeggio, rhythm, ear training, and theory.

No previous musical experience is required — beginners are welcome from age 6+.
Do students need a piano at home?
Students can start their lessons without having a piano or keyboard at home. This allows them to experience the method, begin developing their musical skills, and become comfortable with the learning process before investing in an instrument.
As they progress and want to accelerate their learning, regular practice at home becomes increasingly important. We recommend a touch-sensitive digital piano with MIDI connectivity, which can connect directly to the Soft Mozart software and provide an interactive practice experience with immediate visual feedback.
A full acoustic piano is not required. During the trial lesson, we can also help families choose a suitable MIDI-enabled digital piano based on their needs and budget.
How long until a child can play?
Many beginners can play simple music from the first lessons because our visual, teacher-guided approach gives clear feedback and connects notes to keys. Confident playing, reading, and musical independence develop gradually through regular practice. Progress depends on age, attention, practice consistency, and lesson frequency. The academy path is designed as a long-term curriculum, so students grow from early songs into complete musicianship.
